packet pick up

Packet pick up will be held in the North Building at EWEB's Headquarters located at 500 E. 4th Ave., Eugene, 97401 on the following dates and times:

  • Saturday, Nov. 17 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 18 (day of race) 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

We strongly encourage you to pick up your packet on Saturday to avoid potentially long lines on Sunday morning. If you are unable to pick up your packet during one of the above times, you can have someone pick up your packet for you.

There will be a limited supply available for purchase for $15 at packet pick up and on race day. If you pre-purchased a shirt, they will be available for pick up with your race bib.

The Eugene Water & Electric Board has three parking lots which will accommodate most but not all, of the participants and volunteers. You can also park at Alton Baker Park and walk over. Please be prepared to find parking in the nearby area, as there should be plenty.

Bag check

There is a space to check your bags and gear near the entrance of EWEB's main building adjacent to the parking lot. Please pick up your items by 12:45 p.m. We advise participants to use their own bag and an identification tag will be provided. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Any clothing left in the start area or at water stations will be brought to "lost & found" located at the information tent. Items not claimed after the race will be donated to the Eugene Mission.

Course maps/Chip timing

The course begins at the River Edge Plaza adjacent to EWEB, follows the paved bike paths along the beautiful Willamette River, and ends back at EWEB. Be sure to look for the signs and arrows designated for the race you are running/walking, as there are three different courses. There will also be course marshals if you have any questions. We will have a lead bike with supplies and a medical tent at the finish line. All events will be chip timed to provide the quickest, most accurate results for all participants.

Water and aid stations/restrooms

Water stations are available approximately every other mile along the course. There will be Gatorade available as well at each station. Check out the course maps to see where they are located for each race. For half-marathoners we have some great fuel thanks to our sponsor, Run Hub Northwest: three different flavors of Honey Stinger organic energy gels and two flavors of Honey Stinger organic kids size waffles. If you need any other fuel during the race, please plan accordingly.

There will be portable restrooms located at the start, finish and along the course.

mile markers

Be on the look out for the blue gorilla along the course! There are mile markers for every race. Thank you to Gorilla Capital for sponsoring this year's Run to Stay Warm mile markers.

the after party

After you've crossed the finish line, join other participants or meet family and friends at Tap and Growler for a bowl of soup and a beverage courtesy of Claim 52 Brewing

Awards will be distributed after the race at the After Party located at the Tap and Growler. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the age division winners in each race. All half-marathon finishers receive a finisher medal. Prizes are also given to all kids as they cross the finish line in the 400-meter dash.
